We go from meeting to meeting, screen to screen, thought to thought. We live as if standing still is forbidden. We have to do all sorts of things. My work forces you to stop. To look. To feel. What do you see? Look again, and again.

Inspired by color, shapes, and structures from architecture and nature—and by themes we as humans encounter every day—I sketch and construct objects with my hands from various materials such as wood, stone, plaster, and paper. I compose with light and shadow. I do not photograph reality. I construct it.

Every artwork is the result of a meticulous process—from sketch to object, from light to composition. Slowly. With attention. The opposite of the world we live in.
